Optical windows are flat, plane-parallel plates, they are offen used as protective barriers for electonic sensors or detectors from outside enbironments, we offer optical windows those are made from different materials, such as Germanium (Ge), Silicon (Si), N-BK7(k9), Fused Silica, Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) and other choice as your requirements, About the Ultraviolet (UV), visible, or Infrared (IR) optical windows, we offer multipe anti-reflection coating choice to fulfill your need.
N-bk7(k9) material has a lot of advantage in many different way, like the excellent quality, and uniform transmission in the visible, there are virtually free of bubbles and inclusions, very high refractive index homogeneity.
Fused silica windows has a high degree of purity, and normally they are superior enviromental durability, extremley temperature resistant ability, they have excellent transmission from UV to the NIR, exceptional hardness for demanding application which require a high degree of flatness.
Windows are applied to isolate different physical environments while allowing light to pass. When selecting windows you should consider materials, transmission, scattering, wavefront distortion, parallelism and resistance to certain environment. Commercial Quality Windows
Non-precision windows commonly used for sight glasses, instrument windows, beamsplitter substrates, vacuum windows, etc.
